Son Tra Park

Inspired by the headwater streams on the Son Tra Peninsula, ALPES developed an architectural concept for the park as a flow connecting the mountains to the sea, and people to nature.

Central to this design, the concept of "flow" is emphasized through elevated concrete walkways that meander along the stream, linking the park's various functional areas. Visitors can walk, cycle, or exercise while relaxing and experiencing the multi-layered spaces within the park. The path culminates in a 30-meter-high observation tower, offering panoramic views of the poetic natural landscape of forest and sea. The walkway is accented in red, making it stand out within the park; as it winds, appearing and disappearing through the trees, it adds a dynamic and youthful energy to the space. "Source Stream Park" promises to become an ideal destination for the city's residents.
